FREEZER BURN G/F Q3, Bonifacio High Street, 9th Ave., Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City

This dessert shop is a bit small, which I think is fine since people usually just buy desserts and leave. But since we had time, we decided to sit down and finish our desserts. Luckily, it's just me and my sister, and there were seats available.

The ice cream flavors

Top Row, left to right: The best mint stracciatella, Chocolate (dark), Cookies and junk food, corn and cheese
Bottom Row, left to right: Butter, Ketchup and mayo, Brown Butter Pecan, Maple Bacon

The Buzzer

Around 5-10 minutes wait for your desserts.

The Junkie – Cookies and junk food ice cream + nutella donuts + caramel sauce (P295)

What I loved about "The Junkie"? The nutella donuts. But everything else and the dessert itself was just fine.

The Ola! – Dark Chocolate ice cream + churros + biscuit (P295)

The ice cream was to my liking since it wasn’t too sweet. However, halfway through the dessert I felt like I was eating it just for the sake of finishing it.

For P295 I think the composed desserts are a bit overpriced. The serving wasn’t really that big, but I guess you’re really paying for the ambiance and all the uniqueness of the concept. A scoop of their ice cream is priced at P180. A bit pricey also but at least a scoop is more than what I expected.

On my next visit, I think I'm definitely going to try their ketchup and mayo flavor. I just didn't have the guts to taste it during this visit, but I heard that it's good, so let's see.

My score:
Pricing – 3/5
Service – 5/5
Ambiance – 5/5
Taste – 3/5
