Experience Dry Ramen and Other Japanese Dishes at Hirono Hiro

by - Friday, March 30, 2018

My colleagues and I often have a difficult time deciding on where to have lunch every Friday. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of restaurants around our office, but we find no fun in dining in most of them since these are the typical mall restaurants we have in town.

So when we don't crave for anything and we know that there is a new restaurant that just opened nearby, we drop by and try it as soon as possible, as is the case for S Maison's Hirono Hiro.

Hirono Hiro is a newly opened restaurant at S Maison that serves Japanese cuisine, with steaks and dry ramen as the specialties.

Carbonara Mazemen P375
House ramen noodles with house cured bacon steak and parmesan cream sauce.

Tantan Mazemen P375
House Ramen noodles with tantanmen sauce

Salmon Sashimi P295
5 freshly cut slices of salmon.

Hirono Salad P395
Mixed lettuce with house smoked bacon, parmesan cheese, and calamansi vinaigrette.

I've tried both their tantanmen and carbonara mazemen, and both of them don't really differ much in taste. A serving also looked so small on pictures, but in reality, the plate had more than I expected, and more than I could eat. The creaminess of the sauce also makes it boring to the tastebuds after some time.

My Scores:
