Now Brewing: Caffe Freddo in BGC

Caffe Freddo is the newest cafe located in Bonifacio Global City. They offer high-quality coffee brews with premium coffee beans sourced from Bluestone Lane in New York City.

The Cafe was conceptualized by the same owner of The Spa Wellness, with help from the BonChon Group. It is developed with the belief that "anyone and everyone deserves good food, and that includes beverages" , and with that in mind, they believed it's about time to up the level of coffee game in the country and bring in owner Scott Tan's favorite coffee beans from New York.
This cozy, instagram-worthy cafe with off-white brick walls, white and teal furnitures, and columns with hand-painted coffee plants doesn't only seem like a great place to have coffee, but also have brunch from their extensive, modern European brunch menu.

For a light and healthy kickstart for the day, a muesli bowl made of Greek yogurt, oats & granola muesli with fruits and berries just seems perfect.

Their tartines are actually grilled sourdoughs. The Three Hummus Tartine (left - P210) is topped with classic, herb, and beef hummus, while the Avocado Tarine (right - P270) is topped with feta, tomatoes, and basil.
If you feel like having something fluffy and sweet, and with a bit of a twist, the ube pancakes is the way to go.

Of course, what's an all-day brunch cafe without eggs? Choose between two eggs benedict offered here in Caffe Freddo - the house smoked Canadian bacon & muffin, and the corned beef hash & muffin (P360).
You can also enjoy your Italian favorites here at Caffe Freddo. The one with burrata, dried figs, caramelized onions, and arugula sure makes a great combination!
Choose between pesto, tomato, or oil based pasta. The aglio olio & pancetta pasta has an overall light taste, with a nice garlicky flavor and a touch of saltiness from the pancetta. There is also the beef tagliatelle pasta if you feel like having a more meaty and tomato based pasta.
Caffe Freddo isn't just all about cafe food. Interestingly, their menu includes a good selection of Asian dishes, like the nasi goreng P330 (left), which, for those who don't know, is a classic Indonesian dish made of chicken skewers, spiced vegetable fried rice, and egg. The fried chicken confit & fries is also something you may want to try, as it tastes way better than it looks!
Like any other cafe, Caffe Freddo has a lot of pastries to choose from! You can enjoy having them for dessert, or just pair them with your drink!
