A BARK-day PAW-ty Celebration at Paw Club Philippines

by - Friday, August 23, 2019

Looking for pet-friendly cafes in Metro Manila can be a bit tough. Most restaurants only allow pets in the outdoor area, but we found this cafe that caters not just to pet lovers, but to pets!

Paw Club Philippines is a pet cafe in Pasay City. They offer a sanctuary where pets and owners (along with other pets and their owners) can bond under the same roof. They have food for owners and pets alike, and we got to try them when we celebrated Juno’s first barkday paw-ty here last month.

The Paw Club Chicken Pops P195
The Paw Club Chicken Pops was the first food I've ever tried when I visited Paw Club a few months back. I loved its saltiness and how it tasted like Taiwanese chicken pops. It's the perfect finger food if you don't want a heavy meal, but I do wish they could have a bigger serving.

Spaghetti Carbonara P245
The spaghetti carbonara was also delicious. It was very creamy and saucy.

Basil Pesto with Grilled Chicken P285
The basil pesto with grilled chicken was something I didn't think I'd like since it's cream based instead of just basic oil, but it was good.

Roasted Pork Belly P385
The roasted pork belly was a main dish we were excited about ordering, since we really liked it on our first visit, but I guess the cafe isn't as consistent when it comes to their food. The first time we got to try it, it was more flavorful and less dry. But it was still very filling and worth a try.

Pan-Roasted Salmon P575
We had a new favorite on our second visit, and it's the pan-roasted salmon. I loved the huge slab of salmon, and how it was cooked perfectly. The taste was good, and the best part was it wasn't dry! (which seems like a low standard to set for salmon, but you'd be surprise how many restaurants have served me dry and overcooked salmon). You can also choose if you want rice or mashed potato to go with your order, and we chose the latter, which was so finely mashed but not really creamy and lacked a bit of flavor. It was just finely mashed potato, nothing else.

I didn’t get to take photos of the food for the pets, but we got to order them the biscuit (a bit too tough), spaghetti (their fave), and a barkday liver cake, which our dogs ALL loved!

My friend also ordered the cake from the cafe at least 3 days before for P500. It was a pretty decent cake for the price considering that it was shared by 4 dogs!

They also have an outdoor area by the bay, where there is a small playground your pets can play in while you enjoy the view of the sunset.

Paw Club also offers other services such as grooming and hotel (where you can leave your pet when you’re out of town). They also have a mini shop where you can purchase food and other accessories for your beloved pet.

Want to take to take your pet to the cafe? Make sure your pet has the complete vaccines, just for their protection as well as the other guests'. (so this is a bring your pet at your own risk sort of thing) They also don't require you to bring any documentations, unlike other cafes.

And oh, in case your pet makes a mess, the staff at Paw Club can help you clean it up, but please be responsible so that your pet does not make too much of it. Let's be considerate of other customers in the cafe. They also have a bunch of bowls you can use to feed your pet some food or water, but it's always best to have your own.

Meet my doggo @iamchurrothefrenchie

As I've said, Paw Club is not only for fur parents, but also for pet lovers! So if you ever just want to hang around with some adorable pets, do drop by and order some drinks and food while you play with them.

If you're planning to have your pet's paw-ty here, check out their rate card! But since there were only a few of us, my friend (Juno's mom) opted not to avail of the party packages, which was fine with Paw Club. They will, however, charge an additional P500 for any decorations you will set up.

Well, that's pretty much everything you need to know about Paw Club. We really enjoy our visits here, and we usually consume a lot of hours staying here with our dogs. I just wish that they fix their ventilation soon, as it is REALLY hot in here! If you need more information, you can visit their Facebook page, or shoot them a message.
