We take a lot of things for granted. While we complain about almost anything, we tend to forget to celebrate the littlest but most important things that make life worth living, the things that matter the most. The love and support of our friends and family, the roof over our heads, even the food we share, all these are reasons for us to raise our glasses and TOAST to a #blessed life.

Crystal Dragon is a restaurant hidden behind the walls of City of Dreams. It's a restaurant I've never heard before, but the name itself easily suggests that it's a restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine, which I never back down from.

In this generation that we are living in, technology has become advanced, population has rapidly increased, and prices of food and grocery items have jacked up, making every day tougher to survive. While the number of restaurants that I want to visit has multiplied, sometimes I still long for the simple and cheap food around food courts, especially being a person who works a salary-paying job. This is where the likes of Tower Cafe comes to the rescue.

I was on my way to CCA's parking this morning. It's my second time to drive along this street, but it's also the first time that I saw this milkshake hub here. After seeing the signage, I immediately went to the conclusion that I'd have this checked out by the end of the day.

My boyfriend's family invited me to go on a roadtrip to Laguna, so a day before, we were already researching on where to eat, and this was my first discovery.

Gorda is one of the newest restaurants deserving of all the attention in Uptown Parade. Opened by a brother and sister team in November 2016, this restaurant and bar offers deliciously good Fil-Mex food and drinks in a New York-inspired setting. Team Kalakdarin paid Gorda a visit last Saturday night to indulge in some of their delectable food.

Finnians is a pub located along the streets of San Juan. I've hardly scratched the surface of this city, which is why I'm glad that my visit to Finnians opened my eyes about the hidden gems around this area, this pub included.

Dusit Thani's Benjarong, or "five colors", is named after a unique Thai porcelain that is so majestic it is only used for ceremonies and only by the royalties. This is the promise that the restaurant wants to fulfill to its guests: nothing but fine dining and royal treatment.

Japanese food has always been a cuisine most favored globally. Through the years, as the ever-changing world of culinary arts flourished, we witnessed the Japanese cuisine grow with it, but still maintaining its reputation as a source of quality seafood and meat.

Ping Pong Diplomacy is another standout restaurant at SM Aura, established by one of the restauranteurs currently dominating the business, Charles Paw and the Tasteless Group. The restaurant offers a fusion of American and Chinese cuisine, a combination that really interests me.

My boyfriend and I were supposed to go to a popular sushi place around BGC for the first time, only to arrive at the restaurant with a long queue. I was so hungry. I was feeling dizzy. I was about to unleash the monster in me. I couldn't wait any longer, so we went to another restaurant nearby, Fireside by Kettle.

We all know that the unicorn 🦄 has created a trend worldwide. It is dominating every aspect of our lives, starting from merchandise, and now food.
Tokyo Bubble Tea has introduced their newest item on the menu: the Sakura Unicorn Milkshake! Available in the strawberry and taro flavors. Prices are at P155 (medium) and P165 (large). It's a drink that sparkles with colors, and of course topped with a "unicorn's horn". I paid the cafe a visit and put this pretty drink to the test.

Solaire, home to a few of the finest restaurants in the country, is one of the hotels in my list that I have been saving to visit on the most special occasions. This explains why I have never set foot on this luxurious resort, until the evening of April 27, when a few reviewers and I were invited to a Zomato foodie meet-up.

Waterside is a casual dining restaurant under the Solaire Resort. It offers a Latin-American-inspired cuisine, with dishes that may look familiar, but packs the element of surprise. We sampled both the old and new items on their menu in what I'd describe as one of the most memorable gastronomic experience of my life.
