Cook-It-Yourself Spanish Food at Home

by - Saturday, August 01, 2020

Cocinalo, which means "cook it" in Spanish, is a small business put up with the help of Michelin-trained chef Mikel Martija.

They sell authentic, ready-to-cook Spanish food that you can order and have delivered to your home.

Belarria Saltsan P720 (360g)

Let's start with the dish I only got to learn from them, the belarria saltsan. This dish is apparently one of the most famous dish from the cuisine. It's a slow-cooked stew made with chorizo and pork ear (which is why I described it as a Spanish sisig to my family hehe). They deliver it to you frozen, which you can just toss in a pan to heat up. Its sauce also has a very thick consistency that I really loved pairing with rice. An order may look rather small, but every spoonful goes a long way since it is a very flavorful dish.

Croquetas de Jamon P340 (6pcs/pack)

 Croquetas de Pollo P270 (6pcs/pack)

 Chocoquetas P360 (6pcs/pack)

Of course, what's an authentic Spanish cuisine without croquetas? They have 3 flavors available: jamon, pollo, and chocolate. I honestly loved the chocolate the most since it wasn't too sweet and just had the right texture. It's perfect for adults and kids alike.

To order, just send them a direct message on Instagram with the following details: order/s, name, number, and address.
