Enjoy your favorite Japanese bento meals at home!

I've known Go Bento for quite some time now. I've always wanted to try it as they offer Japanese bento meals at a really budget-friendly price. I figured I could cross it off my list when I'm looking for a heavy meal but did not have much to spend.
Because their food is sooo cheap, I had this impression that the food here at Go Bento tastes mediocre, but boy was I wrong.

Gyoza P80

I started my meal with their gyoza. It was really good. I liked it even if I'm not the kind who goes for gyoza for a starter.

California Maki P110

Their california maki was also great. It had an equal proportion between rice and fillings.

Katsudon (with miso soup and side veggies) P190

Their katsudon also did not disappoint. The serving is huge, the meat was tender, and the sauce was not too sweet or salty.

Chicken Yakitori Don P110

I did not think much of the chicken yakitori because it honestly did not look like much. It's also something I skip in menus, so I was surprised that I liked it more than the other dishes I've tried. I liked that it was grilled perfectly. It had a smoky flavor, the chicken was not overcooked so it was soft and juicy, and the teriyaki sauce made it taste even better with rice.

I also got to try their Coffee Jelly P45 for dessert and it was also good, although others might find it too sweet and creamy.
