I always pass by this small and simple Japanese restaurant in Glorietta and they always had a long line of people waiting to get seated. Since I’m a curious foodie, of course I had to try it.
Soft Boiled Egg & Spring Onion Gyudon ₱189 (M)
Hokkaido Pork Bowl ₱159 (M)
We also tried their Hokkaido pork bowl which was technically similar to a gyudon except it was topped with thinly sliced pork instead of beef.
Yakisoba ₱159
Their yakisoba was good and had a big serving and topped with lots of sliced beef. My only other comment is that the noodles were a bit clumped together.
We also got an order of their chicken popcorn for ₱50. It was a small bowl with a few, one-bite fried chicken popcorn.
Overall, I can say that the taste of their food was okay and was as expected, and there was nothing special with the food they offer at Sukiya apart from it being the more affordable choice compared to the other options in the mall. It’s real value for money.
