Finnians is a pub located along the streets of San Juan. I've hardly scratched the surface of this city, which is why I'm glad that my visit to Finnians opened my eyes about the hidden gems around this area, this pub included.

This pie filled with mashed potatoes and creamy beef is this Irish bar's pride. I'd gladly gobble up a whole order of this on my own. Every spoonful is just so sensational and highly addicting.

Who could ever resist the classic butter and garlic combination, especially when it's fried chicken? This fork-tender chopped chicken stir fried in low-calorie butter and garlic is the perfect snack to go with your drinks and conversations.

This was my all-time favorite dish from Finnians! This gorgeous, melt-in-your-mouth baby back pork ribs, generously smothered with sweet and flavorful honey bourbon sauce is a dish you surely can't miss.

Your good ol' fried battered fish with a side of thinly sliced fried potato chips and tartar sauce. I'm not really very critical about the type of fish any restaurant uses in their fish and chips. What matters to me is that the totality of the dish is not only delicious, but also not rubbery, or tough. More importantly, I enjoy fish and chips when it is paired with good tartar sauce, and Finnians got all of it right.

A traditional British dish with obese sausages and buttery mashed potatoes. You might ignore their bangers & mash thinking that it's a pretty simple dish, but think again. These sausages were surprisingly better than expected. It packed enough saltiness to enjoy even without the gravy.

Finnians is by far one of the best examples of a place where you can have a fun-filled night without worrying your pockets. With its affordable, drool-worthy food and drinks, plus the fine, chill ambiance, this sure is the perfect spot to have a nightcap.
